Air Astana Signs Agreement with Air Lease Corporation

Los Angeles, CA—November 11, 2022

Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: ALC) announced today that it has signed a long-term lease agreement with Air Astana for three new wide-body aircraft.

The aircraft, consisting of two Boeing 787-9s and one Airbus A321-200neo LR, will be delivered to Air Astana over the next two years. The 787-9s will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, while the A321-200neo LR will feature Pratt & Whitney PW1133G engines.

These new aircraft will enable Air Astana to expand its fleet and increase its capacity on both domestic and international routes. The 787-9s will be used on long-haul routes, while the A321-200neo LR will be used on short- to medium-haul routes.
